Katie Horvath, Of Counsel

We would like to introduce you to Katie Horvath, who will be assisting Traverse Legal clients in complex patent litigation in an 'of counsel' capacity. Katie comes with extensive patent and idea protection litigation background including, previous employment with Microsoft Corporation as a patent litigation attorney and several other top west coast law firms. Her legal experience also includes working as Of Counsel with Berkeley Law & Technology Group, LLC.   Ms. Horvath's formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering for Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1995 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1998.  She is admitted to practice law in Michigan, California and Ohio, as well as registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  Katie's addition rounds out the intellectual property team for Traverse Legal which now offers expertise across all IP issues including: trademark registration, trademark monitoring and online protection, trademark litigation, copyright protection and litigation, patent prosecution and litigation, idea protection, non-compete drafting and litigation, fiduciary issues and business torts.
