FAQ:

Do you provide free consultations on Registerfly issues? No. Because of the large number of inquiries by domain name registrants concerning Registerfly problems, we are not in position to provide free legal advice or free consultations. We do provide resources for those seeking free legal information on this web site.

Should I retain Traverse Legal? People who have a significant financial stake in their domain names being held by Registerfly, or lost to third party, as a result of Registerfly's fraud or negligence should retain our services.  This will typically be a domain name owner who have at risk high value domains, high traffic domains or domains which  are critical to their business operations.

What do your services cost? We charge a non-refundable $1,250.00 flat fee for an initial assessment.

What does your law firm deliver for this initial fee? For this fee, we will provide the following services:

  1. Obtain Background Information: Obtain the necessary background information from you concerning you domain name(s) and the particular problem you have had with Registerfly.
  2. Identify Legal Claims: Identify possible legal causes of action and legal principles which may apply to your matter.
  3. Provide Resources: Provide resources and background information which will assist you in understanding Registerfly's history, current legal issues and the technical problems which are causing so many errors.
  4. Provide Recommendations and Next Steps:  Provide recommendations for pursuing your matter against Registerfly. These recommendations  may include additional legal work such as legal threat letters and/or filing of litigation against Registerfly, as well as third party registrants who may now control your domain (such as an injunctive relief precluding the transfer of your domain from Registerfly or any third party which may currently have control or your domain if it has already transferred).

What is Not Included In Your Services? The initial $1,250.00 fee does not include legal threat letters, litigation or activities beyond this initial assessment. Our goal in this initial assessment is to educate you concerning your legal rights and put you in a position to make smart decisions about your options.  Our recommendations for further legal work will include expected legal fees for the next phase of your legal matter if you should decide to proceed forward. Of course, we can not guarantee that your domain name will be returned to your control.
